Employment / Internships
Openings include positions as residential counselors and classroom teachers working with children between the ages of five to twenty years, with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Supervisory positions are filled by seasoned clinicians who are prepared to offer extensive, on-the-job support to the counseling and teaching staff. Many of the staff take advantage of the assortment of graduate classes offered through the University of Chicago and other prominent universities in the area. In fact, after a full year of good job performance, most employees qualify for full tuition reimbursement for graduate course work at the University of Chicago or other excellent universities in the Chicago area. These unique career building opportunities are ideal for the recent bachelors or masters-level practitioner interested in acquiring good practical experience, under close supervision, before going on with post-graduate training.
